HazeWatch is created and offered solely as an independent, free public interest service. There are no fees, subscriptions, or commercial transactions. You acknowledge and agree that because the App is provided completely free of charge, the developer owes no duty of care, service-level guarantee, or ongoing maintenance obligations.
HazeWatch is developed by an independent developer and is NOT an official government application. The developer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or representing any government authority, including but not limited to the Singapore National Environment Agency (NEA) or data.gov.sg.
All air quality data, Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) numbers, and particulate matter (PM2.5) metrics displayed within the App are sourced from publicly accessible, third-party government open data APIs. The developer has no control over:
HAZEWATCH DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE. Air quality indices and status descriptors (e.g. "Good", "Moderate", "Unhealthy") are general statistical guidelines published by official agencies and are intended solely for basic informational awareness.
Individual sensitivity to air pollution varies substantially. Individuals with pre-existing medical conditions (including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchitis, heart disease), pregnant women, the elderly, and children should never base medical treatment, medication dosages, outdoor activity decisions, or emergency responses solely upon readings presented in this App. Always seek the advice of a certified physician or qualified healthcare provider.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THE APP AND ALL DATA, CONTENT, MATERIALS, AND SERVICES AVAILABLE THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITH ALL FAULTS AND DEFECTS.
